D-Brand Ambassadors
Spreading the message and sharing the same values
D-Brand is very proud to work with special people who all have a different story to tell and inspire us every day. For D-Brand, these collaborations are very meaningful and hopefully inspire people to join D-Brand's journey.
Lars Beusker
He worked as a fashion photographer and has been running his own design studio based in Stromberg/Westphalia since 2003. Since 2013, Beusker has been working on various freelance projects alongside his commissioned work, always in black and white. In 2017, he opened his first gallery in a specially constructed Bauhaus pavilion made of wood and glass.
Fascinated by his first trip to Africa, it is not surprising that wildlife photography fascinated him the most. The proximity to wild animals, the tranquillity of untouched nature and the people in these habitats continue to fascinate him - as often as he can, he travels into the wild and captures unique moments in black and white, in unique portraits of wildlife. In 2018, this work became his new trademark after giving up fashion photography.
Lars was completely new to wildlife photography, but his willingness to try something new and his passion for nature have turned out to be something greater, creating an awareness of the beautiful life on this planet. Lars was recognised as the World's Best Wildlife Photographer of the Year in 2022 and 2023 from a selection of 14,000 world-class photographers.
“Life on our planet is so breathtaking that we must do everything we can to preserve it for our children's grandchildren and beyond.”
